My neck of the woods...

Many people ask what it looks like where we live, and I so often think that I take this quaint village for granted.
Take a look, and tell me what you think...

  1. Dena,
Thank you for sharing this over at Memories by the Mile. How beautiful, I would love see your neck of the woods some day. My favorite are the castles.

  3. I nearly fell from my chair when I opened this post.
I grew up im Kaiserswerth in the 1970ies.
That soup window then was owned by an old lady selling all kinds of sweets an candy. It was our first stop after school.

Thanks for bringing back those memories!

    2. Yes, I was born here (I'm German). I now live just one village to the north of Kaiserswerth, with several stations in between over the years.
It was just a big surprise clicking more or less randomly on a blog on the expat-blog site and beeing presented with those pictures.

I hope you feel at home in Kaiserswerth just like I did!
