I am a bit strange. I walk through life looking at things through an imaginary lens. A good portion of the things that I see during the day are processed in my head with the question; "would that be a good photograph?" Now I don't literally mean everything, but a lot of things.
It's about the angles, the rule of thirds, the composition and of course the subject!
Below are some of the "best" photos of 2012. I guess that "best" is subjective, some are graphic, some are controversial, but take a look and tell me what appeals to your photographic eye. My favorite is #21.

It's hard to pick one favorite. I like some for just the beauty of the subject like #15 or #31. Then there are those that tell a deeper story like #35. Isn't it amazing how one picture can take you on an entire journey? Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right Jennifer! Image #15 is wonderful. I love the lines and angles of photo #21 and the story behind it. Thanks for your post!

#15 is impressive. Reminds me of home. I'm surprised there aren't any from the Olympics or Paralympics. It's amazing all that happens in a year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Amity!! I love #15 as well! I know, I was surprised by the lack of olympics, but it is fun to see all the events from the year! Keep coming back!
ReplyDeleteThanks

I like the guy with the cucumbers. 26 I think.
ReplyDeleteI agree Kim! The detail of the cucumbers is amazing, and the fact that he is carrying them all on his head!
