Bring it on 2013...

What an amazing year this was!

My frustration as an expat at the beginning of the year quickly gave way to a sense of calm.  We visited amazing countries, had wonderful experiences.  We built on new friendships, as well as strengthen friendships that we already had.  We were able to show our family and friends the amazing country that we call home, and enjoyed so much of it ourselves.

One little expat hit the teenage years, while the other hit double digits.  My hubby and I celebrated 17 years of wedded bliss and our parents hit milestone birthdays.  I realized that life is going by...quite fast actually.

Rose Tremain said it best, "Life is not a dress rehearsal" and this year that will be my mantra.  My resolution is to continue to live life to the fullest, to not say "Oh, I will do that next year" but to do what I want to do now!

I hope you have wonderful and prosperous 2013
