what a wonderful day!

so a package arrived from america!  we don't often get packages from america.  it is very expensive to ship things across the atlantic and it takes quite awhile!  but a package arrived!

it was like christmas.  i tore into the box with such anticipation, i could hardly wait to see what was inside.

first a sweet card from my cousins letting me know that they were thinking of us, and then there it was...

a little bit of home!

thank you so much to my sweet cousins, you really don't know how much things like this help with being homesick!  it is the small comforts that make my days easier.  and now when the boys ask, "what's for dinner?"  i can answer  "salsa...oh and maybe some chips!"
