Postcards from Rachel. I'm very excited to be guest posting for Dena today while she's exploring everything Scotland has to offer... especially since I lived there for a year with my husband! While we were on a field assignment in Aberdeen, we had the opportunity to
travel all over Europe on the weekends. Today I'd like to share with you one of my favorite vacation spots: Ibiza, Spain.
My husband and I traveled there last year while on a Mediterranean cruise, and although we didn't experience the wild night life, we did enjoy walking down the cobblestone streets, eating at the corner cafes, and just taking everything in. The weather was perfect and we loved the hustle and bustle of the island.
Most of our time was spent walking along the coastline and visiting local shops. We met a young man near the cruise port and ended up buying a beautiful painting from him. When I think of the Mediterranean, I automatically picture all of the wonderful turquoise colors that make up the water, and he captured this! And as you can see from these photos, the architecture in Ibiza was also stunning.
